I’m here to help you get what you need.

I believe everyone deserves a real chance at happiness. And in my 27+ years of experience, I’ve found that the proper attention and tools can give you that chance. 

In therapy with me, you can expect a completely non-judgmental space where you’ll always feel heard. Together, we’ll work to gain a deeper understanding of what you’re going through and I can provide you with any information you’re curious to know. Through our work together, you’ll realize that your thoughts and feelings aren’t facts, and I’ll help you challenge your anxiety so you can feel more in control of your mind. If there are therapy methods I think might be helpful — like EMDR, ERP, or CBT — we can explore those, too.

Maybe you’ve been to therapy before but felt you didn’t get anything useful out of it or weren’t in the right headspace to take it in. I get it. My goal is always to meet you where you’re at, so we can work together to find real solutions that will bring you real relief.

  • Something you experienced — either in your childhood or your more recent past — continues to haunt you. You feel on edge more often than not and may have bursts of anger that seem like they came out of nowhere. The flashbacks or nightmares you experience bring up emotions that feel as real and fresh as they did when the traumatic event initially happened. Through therapy, you can process those painful memories and the feelings associated with them in a safe space. Then, you’ll finally be able to move forward.

  • The best way to describe how you’re feeling right now is totally exhausted. It feels like a chore just getting out of bed in the morning, and sometimes you can’t muster the energy even to do that. It’s like your mind is separate from you, and it brings up worries or scenarios at the worst times. You don’t feel capable of doing things by yourself anymore, and even things you used to enjoy spark little or no interest. Through therapy, you’ll be able to challenge anxious thoughts and take care of yourself when you are feeling depressed. Then, you’ll have the tools to function better and genuinely feel better, too.

  • Even if others don’t know it, you’re almost always overthinking something. It’s like your worries multiply the more you focus on them, bringing up “what ifs” until you’re exhausted, but you have no idea how to break the cycle. Sometimes certain behaviors feel necessary to stop the anxious thoughts, and while they initially provide some relief, you end up caught in a loop with those, too. You may worry these unwanted intrusive thoughts make you a bad person, but let me assure you: this is not your fault. Through therapy and treatment methods like ERP, you can find ways to manage these thoughts and feelings and cultivate more calm in your life.

  • It seems like so much of your existence is ruled by fear and you wish you could just make it stop. Your constant mood swings confuse everyone around you and even get you in trouble at times.
